Timp.

I woke up on Saturday at noon. Yes, noon. I never sleep in that late...I'm lucky if I can push 10:30. But the night before my roommate and I decided to stay in together and have a movie marathon, and didn't end up going to bed until 3:30 am. When I woke up, I took a shower...got ready and had full intentions of studying for a few hours since finals are this coming week. But plans changed.... because RIGHT then I get a phone call.....another date. SO not only do boys take four hours to plan dates, they also plan dates for 2 pm in the afternoon. ONLY in Utah. I thought part of a "date's" definition was "outing or activity between two persons at NIGHT"......but I constantly am reminding myself, I'm in Utah.

Three couples crammed into a truck and were driven up Alpine Loop.....where we got out...and hiked. ONLY Utah dates do that too.

On the journey we became one with nature.

And after a what seemed like a long trek.....(I thought the pioneer trek was over?)

We reached this haven.

And then we played!

But I soon found out that the water was FREEZING! I tried to act cool anyways...everyone else seemed to be down with it.

Then we couldn't take it any longer. We were turning blue from the ice cold (supposed to be snow) water...we were at the top of the mountains!

Fun day y'all.

(P.S. And for the record Dad, the only kiss given was the one to the boo-boo on his knee!)....oh, UTAH.

Wow...I don't know which date I like the most! Quit making fun of Utah...you know you love it. It is a pretty amazing experience. Be glad you're not in your room homesick, watching a HSM marathon while everyone else is out picking daisies!
